Random Thoughts and Pictures

Things have been kind of quiet here, lately. We have started school and all the activities that start back up in the fall. Katie has started nursing school and Megan is doing her residency in Georgia. Sarah, Caroline, and Claire are dancing again with Miracles In Motion, Zola and Abigail are still taking harp lessons and Zola has started a cooking class that she really enjoys. Jordan, Andrew and Bethany have started soccer -- a first for them. Bethany has been so excited about being on a team and I think the exercise will be really good for her. Of course, there are still all of the therapies we go to for several of the kids. The worst part -- all the driving. It is very difficult with my older girls gone most of the time. But, with a little help, I'm getting it done.

A few pictures from last weekend when I was at the Farmer's Market and an Art Festival.

Just a few random pictures I have taken in the past couple of weeks.

It's Been Awhile

It has been so long since I sat down to write on my blog that I am not even sure what to say. I had so many things I was going to blog about this summer -- but I didn't. Then as July was coming to an end I had lots of pictures and things I wanted to post, but before I even got some of my pictures on my computer we had an enormous problem. We almost lost 169,000 of my pictures -- yes, we did have them backed up, but even the backup had a problem. We spent several weeks getting all of this fixed and I am so thankful that my husband was able to save my pictures. I can't even imagine how awful it would have been to have lost several years of photos and video. So, I can finally load pictures on my computer again. Since I love photography and usually take a few pictures every single day, it has been hard to not be able to load them on the computer and look at them. When the computer problem was finally fixed and I had access to all my pictures again I loaded several flash cards. I was so excited. Finally, things are back to normal.

We did have a nice summer. I am sorry to see it end, but I do love fall. We are already planning fall projects and small trips -- with lots of pictures. I will just post a few pictures now and then go get all of our school stuff together.

Reagan (granddaughter) came to play some this summer and she is finally big enough to want to play out back with the kids. She really enjoyed being able to play with the bigger kids.

Reagan didn't really help with the baking, but she did like to watch.

While the kids mixed up several different things to bake, our little squirrel that is always hanging around, stood in the window and watched. He is so cute and the kids love him.

Sophia watched from her highchair much of the time -- we baked over several different days.

Sophia still spends a lot of time playing in the floor with the kids or banging on musical toys.

This little one, Joshua, has grown so much in the past few month. He is such a big boy. I just love his red hair. He is only 10 months old and will be a big brother in November -- so then I will have 4 grandchildren.
