The Past Week

Bethany has been working on her knitting and has started making hats. She made a hat and booties and mittens for Tess's doll this past week. Then she decided to make some hats that would fit the kids and herself. She has really enjoyed making them. Now she is thinking she is going to make them and sell them to make Christmas money - I know it's early, but it's good to be thinking ahead.

We had our first get together as a family on the 4th of July - except for a funeral and Abigail's wedding in June. We just had family and actually we all stayed outside the entire except for the two with babies. They went in to nurse a baby and to cool off occasionally. It was nice to see each other together again after almost 4 months. I have really missed family coming over and visiting and cooking out and just spending time together. This was good.

Our 4th of July

We had a nice 4th of July and most of the family was here. I will post some pictures of our day. Also, Joey can't get his chemo again this week - numbers too low - so please continue to pray for him. This is the second week he has missed. He is able to eat a little more now and has had some pretty good days so that is good. Hopefully, he will be able to continue with his chemo in another week.

Oh, and there are quite a few little ones missing in the pictures where we are doing sparklers and fireworks as this year quite a few were scared - many watched from the porch or steps.
