Liam

We had a really nice Thanksgiving with family and friends. One thing that was really special this year is that we got to meet our grandson, Liam. He just turned a year old and lives across the country from us and we have only seen pictures of him until Thanksgiving. He is quite a little charmer and I think everyone was excited to see him. Surprisingly, even though he has never met us, he was very friendly and let us all hold him.

He looks so much like his dad, John, looked at his age.

  1. Other good doll books include "The Story of Holly and Ivy"', by Rumer Godden, and "The Most Wonderful Doll in the World", by Phyllis McGinley. Not sure they're still in print, but your library may have them. The first is a Christmas story; the second a Caldecott Honor Book, and both are about the right level.

Always love your posts and your beautiful pictures of your beautiful family - and house!

    1. We have the book about Holly and Ivy, but I am going to see if I can find the other book. Even if it is out of print, I can probably find it somewhere. Thanks.
