Memories

I was going to post this last night, but before I could get around to it a really sad thing happened and I ended up unable to post. Zola's duck, Gus, was taken by a fox. Zola went out to put her ducks away for the night - they are in a little fenced yard but she puts them in a house for the night. Gus was gone and there was a small pile of feathers near the little fence. We knew something bad had happened. We went inside and watched the video of the last couple of hours and there it was -- a fox came out of the woods and got inside the fence and got Gus. He was gone with him in a matter of minutes. It was a sad night for everyone.

Now for the post I had planned. A few days ago I got an email from Shutterfly that said they had some pictures they thought I might like to see. They sent me about 10 pictures. They were all from around 7-10 years ago. I had forgotten all about them and after looking at the few they sent we clicked the link and looked at tons of old pictures. I so enjoyed looking at all the pictures and so did the kids. It was almost sad to me to see how little the kids were and realize how much they had grown.

Seeing the pictures made me decide to go back and look at them on my computer. So, I spent several hours just looking at all the old pictures from 2006 - 2011. I decided I wanted to put some on my blog to have in my blog book next year and to just share. So, I decided to start with Sarah and Caroline and just post a few of them tonight. They have always been so close and looking back at them playing together was so sweet. They are still best friends to this day. Sarah absolutely adores Caroline.

Sarah and Caroline were 6 and 8 in most of these pictures. They played together so much back then and they still do today.
