Forgot One

When I was posting last night I forgot one of the books we read. It is Katie Kittenheart by Miriam Mason. This book was first published in 1957. I saw it mentioned somewhere online and thought it sounded like something we might like so I found an old copy and ordered it. I didn't see any place to order a new one so it is probably out of print. This book was simple and sweet. Katie always seemed to find herself helping someone -- from a neighbor with five young children to a class of stranded children. This was not a real exciting book with lots going on, but it was a nice simple read and we enjoyed it very much.
