Today our special thing was to have family over this evening. We baked, made fudge and did stuff like that together to get ready, and then enjoyed visiting each other this evening. It was nice, but so many could not make it. When you have a nurse and a cop in your family it is hard to ever plan something they can both attend because they both work so many weekends. But, it was very nice and all the kids had fun. It was a good special thing.
Andrew did a lot of the baking - and yes we cheated today and used slice and bake. But, we did make homemade fudge -- three batches of it. Andrew made that, too. He likes to be in the kitchen cooking.
