Today our special thing was to dip pretzels and then add sprinkles. We had pretzel rods and melted chocolate and vanilla melting wafers then dipped the pretzels in the melted chocolate and vanilla. Then we added sprinkles. The kids did love this, but it was so messy. We had sprinkles and mess all over the place. But, they tasted good and it was fun so another day down in our Christmas count down.
We also read The True Gift by Patricia MacLachlan and then started The Christmas Doll by Elvira Woodruff. Both books are really good. I just love The Christmas Doll and so do all the kids. It is a wonderful book. We had a nice day reading and making our pretzels - kind of a lazy day today.
